Review - pH Matchmaker Lip gloss

The other day I found a cool new beauty product by Physicians Formula -- the pH Matchmaker Lip gloss. What's cool about this lip gloss is that it changes colors based on your body's pH and lighting. Being all into science, I had to check it out. I figured I wouldn't see a change, or find anything special about it. I was wrong! It is kind of hard to see in the pictures due to the poor lighting in the back room of my house. However, the lip gloss goes on clear for the first 60 seconds, and then gradually shifts to a pink hue. I left mine on for a few hours and noticed that it sort of alternated between a lighter and darker pink -- but somehow the color looked perfect with my skin-tone and in the lighting in which ever room I was in! It glides on easily, and has a smooth consistency, which is something I really look for in a good lip product. It isn't sticky, and it doesn't dry out and leave my lips chapped or splotchy. It comes in a cool pink container with a mirror on one slide for application, and the brush even has a little button on top that lights up..so this would be the perfect daytime or nighttime gloss. It comes in light pink and dark pink..I am wearing the light pink. I would say choose the darker shade if you are more into reds or oranges. I typically wear eyeshadow, so I feel like a more natural color is better on my lips.

It was only $9.99 from Ulta, and right now if you order lots of products online, you get a cool bag filled with a ton of samples. Here is the product description from Ulta:

    2. Not at all! It's actually one of the nicest I have in terms of how it feels. I have some lip plumping ones that really start tingling, but I don't feel anything from this. Aw, thank you so much! I really appreciate it. :)
