NeoCell ArthroPet Review and Giveaway!

I recently wrote an article about NeoCell and their great beauty and fitness supplements. Check out that review here to learn more about the company! NeoCell also makes great supplements for our furry friends! ArthroPet is great for older dogs who suffer from any type of health problem, or for dogs with joint, muscle, eye, or skin problems. This supplement comes in one-sixty count bottle of "wafers". The wafers are natural and safe for your pets and actually contain chicken cartilage. The chicken cartilage is a natural source of collagen type II, glucosamine, chondroitin, hyaluronic acid, MSM, CMO and Manganese.

The ArthroPet wafers are to be given in the morning, on an empty stomach. You must allow 20 minutes to pass before feeding your dog. One wafer is given to dogs under 50 lbs per day and two are given to dogs over 50 lbs per day. These supplements promote glossy, healthy coats and skin, healthy joints, better eye sight, and even heart health!

ArthroPet also contains:

Microcrystalline cellulose, natural chicken flavor and magnesium stearate, slica and stearic acid.
Contains no sucrose, starch, yeast, wheat, corn, cholesterol, fat or dairy products.

I was so excited to try these supplements on my dog Icarus for several reasons. The most important is problem his joint problems. Although he is only 4 years old, the Pomeranian genes in him make him susceptible to certain conditions. We started to notice that some days he would shake as if he were having a seizure, but it was actually miniature muscle spasms and tremors. He suffers from a luxating patella, which is just a fancy term for a knee that pops out of joint. It can pop out at any time, but especially when he's jumping, running, or playing. I think that him being a little over-weight does not help with the stress on his joints. Either way, he is in a lot of pain when it does pop out, so we will try anything that can help prevent it. Another reason to try these supplements would be for healthier skin -- his skin is super sensitive and prone to all kinds of irritations.

I also think ArthroPet is good to give to your dog simply to PREVENT problems that come with age or with certain breeds. Heart health is always very important with any pet. When I gave ArthroPet to Icarus, he was not interested in ingesting it on his own. As you can see from the pictures, he sniffed and pawed at it, but he wouldn't eat it. I had to force feed it to him, rolled up in a piece of ham or turkey. I will keep giving the supplements to him, to see if the muscle spasms occur less frequently.

I like all the benefits of ArthroPet. The only problem I had with it is trying to schedule a time to take it. My dog is spoiled and always begging food off of someone in the house, or sneaking a treat that he buried the night before. I found it difficult to get him to a point where he had an empty stomach, or where he wouldn't eat for 20 minutes!
