A-Rx Weight Loss Pills: Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

A-Rx Weight Loss Pills are manufactured by Living Fit USA, whose mission statement is "to promote a healthy lifestyle through natural supplements". These weight loss pills are dietary supplements which have NOT been evaluated by the FDA. Though they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease, the A-Rx Amazon page states that these pills are "super strong prescription grade diet pills available without a prescription".

A-Rx Weight Loss Pills are made in the United States and contain zero fillers or binders. They contain no unnatural chemicals or additives. Each bottle contains 30 capsules, which is enough for a one month's supply. You are supposed to take A-Rx Weight Loss Pills once a day before breakfast with an 8 ounce glass of water. Living Fit USA also stresses the importance of drinking many glasses of water a day. These supplements are not intended for people under the age of eighteen or who are nursing or pregnant. You should always consult your doctor if you are taking ANY medication before adding a supplement to your diet.

What do A-Rx Weight Loss Pills contain?

A 505mg proprietary blend which includes the following: Garcinia Cambogia Extract (Standardized to 60% hydroxycitric acid), Green Coffee Bean Extract (Standardized to 50% chlorogenic acid), Green Tea Extract (Standardized extract), Guarana (22% caffeine), Vitamin B-12. Other ingredients include gelatin capsules.

Garcinia Cambogia is a plant, and its fruit rind is used in supplements. It has possible implications in weight loss, and one of its main chemical compounds, hydroxycitric acid, may increase exercise performance in untrained women, according to WebMD.

Guarana is from a South American tree and has a very high caffeine content, which can help increase energy levels. Vitamin B-12 is good to take if you have a deficiency, and may help with certain diseases. We all know that green tea and green coffee have many benefits, one being potential weight loss (through preventing full absorption of fat).

On its Amazon page, A-Rx is described as having an average weight loss of 15-20 pounds a month. From the first day, it should help to suppress your appetite, increase energy, burn fat, and increase your metabolism. It claims to have guaranteed fast and easy weight loss results for both men and women.

Side effects for the supplement as a whole are not listed, but common side effects from the individual ingredients do not seem to be many, or severe -- things such as headaches, stomachaches, etc.

You can purchase A-Rx Weight Loss Pills (extra strength) from Amazon for $29.95 per bottle (one month supply) with free shipping. If you are interested, the link is here.

I was interested in reviewing the A-Rx Weight Loss Pills because when I looked at their Amazon page, they had really glowing ratings and reviews. Everyone seemed to be raving about how well this supplement worked for them. Naturally, I am very skeptical about any supplement that specifically mentions "weight loss" in its title or its claims. I am generally more open to a blended supplement that doesn't take on such a grand claim -- 15-20 pounds average weight loss, plus the suppression of appetite and increased metabolism is A LOT. I know there is no magic pill, but I believe in things that can help jump-start or supplement your diet. Right now, I am eating healthy and going to the gym every other day for an hour and a half, so I don't think my results would have been entirely unbiased.

When I took these pills (since I was on my unintentional blogger hiatus I didn't get to type this up until now), I was not eating particularly healthy, nor was I getting a ton of exercise. My typical day consisted of several hours of lecture, only sometimes standing, and then several hours more of sit-down studying at home. I took these supplements once a day with a glass of water as the directions stated. I did not have the glowing results that others did. I MAY have experienced more energy and a slightly lesser appetite, but I certainly did not see a 15-20 pound weight loss. I feel like that is very hard to generalize.. weight loss depends on so many factors, so how can they claim a 15-20 pound weight loss? For me, I would only recommend this pill for a slight increase in energy or decrease in appetite, but not for a huge weight loss result. However, do remember that everyone is different and just because this didn't work for me doesn't necessarily mean it won't work for someone else. I really wanted it to work, because the company was so nice to work with, but I guess that is the nature of the product! Have you tried this, or has anyone else that you know? As always, I value giving you honest reviews. Did you have different results? I would love to hear.

  1. I, too, am skeptical of "weight loss" supplements. I recently tried the Garcinia Cambogia, I only lost 2 lbs. so far. I did have a boost in energy but not sure if it is going to cause a significant drop in weight. Sounds like we had a similar experience.

  2. Thanks for your honest thoughts on this. I hate when it happens that we don't like a product but it always help others decide whether they want it or not.

  5. Thank you so much for being honest. I think we would all love a pill that really works but I don't think it will happen at least not anything legal.

  7. Lia not only deals with her anorexia, but with a broken family and cutting problems.

It's not just a best book for young adults but for everyone, even us "adults" who still enjoy the kid inside
us. The NFL fans will say that their sport is superior,
but you just can't find the passion in Pro football that there is in College Football.

  10. I’ve lost 5 kilos in my first week. I followed the diet with some protein as suggested. It is really like magic! It works. I’m not perfectly following the listed diet plan mostly), but the weight looses even on very little exercise. Give a try on this, this diet plan clearly works.
