Propresser Stainless Steel Garlic Press: Review

Orblue is a company that was founded in 2013, that specializes in manufacturing unique kitchen products. Their mission is to provide high-quality products and customer service alike. Orblue makes lives easier with their time-saving, innovative creations! Orblue currently makes two products: the Propresser Stainless Steel Garlic Press and the Silicone Ice Ball Maker.

I was lucky enough to receive the Propresser Stainless Steel Garlic Press in exchange for writing this review. The Propresser Stainless Steel Garlic Press is a high-quality kitchen tool that is a grade above major competitors. Instead of being made from cheaper zinc alloys, the Propresser Garlic Press is made, as its name states, from 100% stainless steel. The difference is very beneficial, as you won't have to worry about this garlic press breaking, rusting, or weakening as other brands do. It is a product that you can invest in, because you will have it for many years. It is dishwasher safe, also.

It is extremely easy to use! All you have to do is put a clove or two of garlic in the basket and clamp the handles together. The Propresser Stainless Steel Garlic Press can handle large cloves, and you do NOT have to peel off the outside first. Once you have clamped down the press, your garlic clove(s) will become minced, being pushed through the grates and into your food. You then only have to scrape out the remaining peel inside. You can run the garlic press under warm water to remove the peel, so that you don't have to touch the garlic at all. The minced garlic is easily shaken off into your pan or dish. The Propressor Stainless Steel Garlic Press is heavy-duty but also has an ergonomic design, with comfortable handles and easy mincing of garlic cloves. You won't have to worry about having "garlic hands" once you are done using this garlic press.

Right now, you can purchase the Propresser Stainless Steel Garlic Press, here, on Amazon, for just $19.87; if you have Amazon Prime, shipping is free! Orblue has confidence in their Propresser Stainless Steel Garlic Press -- if for any reason you are not satisfied with it, they are offering a 200% guarantee, which means that they will not only refund your money, but also will send you another garlic press free of charge. If you were on the fence about trying this particular product, you really have nothing to lose. Orblue is currently running a promotion, where you can get 10% off if you order two or more of the garlic press; it makes a wonderful gift idea! When you order your garlic press, you will also receive a free "Home Chef" Kitchen Management Ebook with many tips.

Overall, I really like the design of the Propresser Stainless Steel Garlic Press. It is definitely as heavy-duty as it claims to be, and is a nice addition to my growing kitchen set with the stainless steel. I was excited to review this garlic press because we LOVE garlic in my house. We are constantly chopping up fresh cloves to add to healthy new dishes...I'm one of those people who thinks that you can never have too much garlic. It seriously can make anything taste better! That being said, I have always been frustrated when trying to get the garlic cloves into the tiny, minced pieces that I need for my recipes. Generally the pieces are too large and half of the time I have trouble scraping the last bit of peel off. I would never buy minced garlic just to save myself the effort, but I definitely got excited when I heard about this garlic press.

The handles are comfortable; I'm pretty weak, and I was able to put two cloves into the garlic press and create minced garlic pretty easily. It does take a little bit of pushing, but then the minced garlic just slides right out. It worked a lot better than I thought it would. You can flip the basket out to clean it, but I just scraped the peel out using a knife. I really liked not having the garlic smell all over my hands, and I loved the fact that I didn't have to peel the garlic first..the garlic press worked just fine to remove the peel. I like that this makes home cooking just a little bit easier for me; now I can speed up the process with my new garlic press. I definitely recommend this garlic press to others.

  18. What a great thorough review. I must admit I've never seen the purpose of a garlic press before now. I usually just chop up the garlic.
