Bargain Argan: Review and Giveaway!

Bargain Argan is a company based out of the United States that imports and packages 100% pure and certified Argan Oil from southwestern Morocco. I was lucky enough to receive a one oz. bottle of Bargain Argan's Argan Oil for the purpose of conducting this review. I absolutely love experimenting with natural oils for both skincare and hair care...anything to enhance my beauty regimen in a healthy way! I have always had positive results when it comes to trying oils, probably because I suffer from some dry and distressed hair and unruly combination skin that is super dry in the winter.

Bargain Argan's 100% Pure Organic Argan Oil is available in two sizes: 1 oz and 2 oz. Each product comes in a squeezable, plastic bottle with a nifty twist cap dispenser. This Argan Oil has been certified as organic by ECO and the USDA. The only ingredient present in this product is the argan oil -- there are no harsh chemicals, additives, coloring, or fillers. Bargain Argan manufactures their product with a simple design and simple packaging to keep their prices affordable for customers. The design and twist cap dispenser are actually great for applying the Bargain Argan Oil to localized areas, or to hard-to-get at areas, like on your scalp.

What is Argan Oil good for, in terms of your beauty routine?

Lots of things! Bargain Argan Oil is great for massages and soothing the skin. It also makes a wonderful addition to your scalp or your hair, to prevent flaking and to help repair split-ends. It is rich in things such as Vitamin E, proteins, and essential fatty acids which can enhance the health and the luster of your hair. You can also apply the Bargain Argan Oil to the skin on your face or anywhere on your body, as it will help soften and reduce many skin conditions. It is great for use on cuticles and nail beds, as well as any cracked or dry areas, such as your heels or elbows. It is really good for just about anything! Not only can it be directly applied -- you can also add it to your favorite products, like shampoos, conditioners, or moisturizers, to add that something extra.

I have used the Bargain Argan extensively in my hair and I love it! Like most natural oils, it is the perfect remedy for my dry hair and split ends. It isn't a magic, overnight repair, but it definitely helps over time. As soon as you put the Bargain Argan Oil on, you can notice the difference in how saturated and moisturized your hair looks. It takes my hair from fly-away and dry to shiny and smooth, without giving it a greasy texture. I do have thick hair that is resistant to becoming oily, so keep that in mind if you are purchasing this with thin or more oily hair -- you will probably want to use less product. I put it on the ends of my hair and then I put a little on the top of my head and comb it down through and it spreads out nice and evenly. There is no noticeable scent, which is good for people who are sensitive to strong smells. I like that it doesn't have that smell that a lot of hairsprays do. I love that it is all-natural and I think that this type of bottle makes it very easy to apply. As winter approaches, my feet start to become cracked on the heels and even towards the underside of the front of my foot, so I will be using this as one of many products to help heel and smooth out my skin. I think it is very effective, and very affordable for the amount that you get. This is a go-to product for dry hair or skin!
